Reasons why I love to be a teacher

            My first experience as a teacher was through an internship. Although I love the teaching field, it was when I started working at Glenfall Preschool that I realized why I love it so much. Babies are so cute and cuddly. I always loved spending time with such people. So, in the first days when I started working, although I was not used to dealing with small children, I gradually started to become close with them. Read story books to them. Sang songs with them. Called them dear, I petted them. I started thinking on their level and tried to understand them a lot.

           

            Dealing with them was not easy. You need a lot of patience to do that. Sometimes I even got angry. But I was very patient and spent time with the children. Little by little the children started loving me a lot. Every morning when I come, the children run and hug me and bring me flowers. some children are writing love letters and bring them to me. They are writing cute things to me with their small letters. And some are making cards. Also, the parents of the children come to me and tell me that the children go home and say that they love me very much. I feel very happy when I hear them. I feel the love that they have towards me through these. I never discriminate against any child, compare them or hurt their feelings. If I see them making a mistake, I very lovingly tell them about that mistake and try to correct them. They also love me so they won't make that mistake again.So I think they loved me so much because they felt what I did to them and the way I was kind and loving to them. 

I felt very sad when I left them. I will never forget them in my lifetime. I sincerely wish them all success in the future. And one day, I look forward to strengthening the basic foundation of the education of another group of children just as them. So I love and respect the profession of teaching because words cannot describe the love I get from children. And I am very honored to be able to help a child's education and to help them to shine in their future.
